Ethel Zoe Bailey's letter to Mrs. Warner:
Dear Mrs. Warner
It was thoughtful of you to write me and send the clipping about the Bailey Museum. I was glad also to have the account from our Dr. Hyypio of his visit there.
The last time i visited South Haven was in the fall of 1949, on our way to see my niece in Des Moines. then the old home was occupied by nurses from the hospital next door. It was only a few months after that when Father suffered his accident from which he never fully recovered.
We never had any furniture from there, only a few items which Dr. Lawrence took back to South Haven in the fifties. I do not know what happened to the contents of the house after Grandmother Bailey's death. I assume that Alberta Bridges ( who later married Mr. Rockwell ) would have had her choice of what she wanted.
Signed Ethel Z. Bailey
